Sorry I haven't updated my blog in a couple days. I have been shooting for new client American First Builders in Park City, Utah. American First Builders are one of the largest builders in Utah. Their area of focus is in the Park City region while currently expanding into Scottsdale, AZ. Mike Graham, the owner, builds unique custom homes with an extraordinary sharp attention to detail. Mikes work is amazing; his cabinetry is the best I have seen. I have never seen a house remotely close to this in Malibu & I have seen it all. Not to say there aren’t amazing homes in Malibu, just not in this caliber. On Mike’s last visit to Malibu he fully remodeled my condo. People are blown away when they see the build out of my place. I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to photograph only 6 of his one-of-a- kind custom homes on this trip, the largest home being 25,000 square feet! I am planning on going back several more times this year. On this shoot I flew in alone and shot everything myself. I only used natural day light and the lighting in the house. Mike’s homes do not generally need extra lighting because they already have great lighting everywhere which make these photos turn out so well. Unfortunately, I couldn't bring in my crew because it would have taken too long and been too expensive for everyone. This shoot was a lot of bracketing and working in HDR lightroom, I put the final touches and perfected everything in Photoshop. The big work is done in the office on the computer. Below are some of the completed images. I shot over 100 different images on this trip, and have a lot of Photoshop work to still be completed. Check back later to see all the final shots. I will also be working on updating Mike’s website, so a link will be posted soon.
Right on the golf course so nice.
Ok, I don't think photography will get me a house like this but I can dream. Indoor pool on the best snow mountain in UT.
Came out to Park City, UT yesterday to shoot some houses. Today I photographed two houses which where some of the sickest places ever. This first house had an indoor pool and was right on the mountain next to a chair lift. Soooooo sicky. I will post the photos in a couple days when I get back because my laptop sucks.
But here are some images of UT I did on my iphone. Look snow, its May and still snow. It's classic.
Flying out of LAX is always fun
This is the view from where I am staying, sooo nice.
Saturday I did a shoot in downtown Los Angles, CA with model Tanya Radulovich. She was so great to photograph, going to be shooting together a lot more. Here are the un-retouched images so far. Will have the retouched images up soon on my website.
Also put together a small video together on my FLIP video. I am not an editor and have no idea what I am doing but it works. Enjoy.
Equipment Used to Do The Shoot: Canon 5D Mark II
5omm lens, 70-200mm lens
Flip Video
Apple laptop (need a new one badly) Sunbounce
How they where photographed. All natural light mostly back lit from the sun than the sunbounce to fill the model. That sunbounce is pretty much the best thing ever. Most of these shots where shot at F4.5 @ 400.
Here are some of the photos I took and Joe Hamilton
Watch the video to really understand how classic this place was.
Thanks to Leonard Knight for letting me hang out, talk with him,

People bring this stuff.
The Man Leonard Knight

In this photo he told me to hurry up LOL he was classic.
Made a road trip last weekend watch the video, you really have no idea how bad this place smelled. Went to check it out and see if I wanted to do a shoot here, I will pass on this one for sure. Wish you all could smell this.
